🔓 1. Carrier Unlock (Network Unlock)
If your Nothing Phone is locked to a specific carrier, you’ll need to request an unlock:
- Check with your carrier (Jio, Airtel, Vi, etc.) to see if the phone is locked.
- If locked, request an unlock from the carrier (may require meeting their conditions).
- Once unlocked, insert a different SIM and restart the phone.
🔑 2. SIM Lock / "Use a valid Indian SIM card" Issue
- If the phone was purchased from another region, it may have a region lock.
- Solution: Insert the original SIM (from the country of purchase), make a call, then try an Indian SIM.
- If it still doesn't work, a software update or manual unlock may be needed.
🔒 3. Forgot PIN, Password, or Pattern
If you’re locked out of your phone due to a forgotten password:
- Use Google’s Find My Device (link) to erase the device and unlock it.
- If that doesn’t work, perform a factory reset via Recovery Mode:
- Turn off the phone.
- Press and hold Power + Volume Up until the Nothing logo appears.
- Navigate to Wipe data/factory reset (⚠️ This erases all data!).
- Restart the phone and set it up again.
